1.Do we send Intuit the logos that will appear in the software?
No, the images and Marketspace Tab HTML page will reside on the financial institution's marketing server. All you need to send to Intuit is/are the marketing index URL(s), which we will store on our Intuit Branding Server.

2.What is the index.ini file?
It is a textbased file with specific formats and URLs which will direct the software where to go to download logos and the Marketspace Tab page from the financial institution's marketing server. Refer to the Marketing Index File Guide for details.

3.Can I preview the logos in the software before we push the marketing index URL live to customers?
Yes, send the marketing index URL to the branding contact you have been working with. This URL will be placed into our test Branding Server region. We will take screenshots of the screens where the logos appear and send to you for review and approval.

4.What do we need to do if we want to update our logos?
After you've uploaded the new logos onto your server, go into the marketing index file(s) and update the LastModified date lines. Quicken/QuickBooks references this date whenever the user goes online, when the application sees a change to this date, it will go to the associated URLs and download the new images into the user's software.

5.I updated the image, but I don't see the change in the software application?
Anytime you update an image, you must update the LastModified date in the marketing index file. Quicken and QuickBooks references this date. If the software does not see a change to this date, then it won't go to the URL to download the new image. The software knows to locate, download, and display the updated changes when this value is modified.

Also, Quicken and QuickBooks will only check for updated images every 48 hours. For example, if a user went online at 7am, you updated your LastModified date and an image later at noon, and the user goes online again at 8pm, the user will not see the update until after 7am 2 days later (48 hours later).

6.Why does the image in the Online Financial List screen not display the correct image?

As stated in an above FAQ, the financial institution host the images, the one exception to this is the image, which appears on this screen. Intuit will take the image you've created for the [ID_BIGLOGO], convert it to .gif, and store this image on our Intuit Branding Server.

7.I've referenced the HTML specification guide, but my Marketspace Tab page still does not appear properly in Quicken?
Send to QuickInfo@Intuit.com your HTML source code and we will attempt to fix it so it appears correctly in Quicken. Please allow for 7 business day turnaround.

8.My images are not appearing in the Marketspace Tab page in Quicken. Why is that?
Although you are using some HTML to create this page, please note it is not displaying in a browser, but rather a software application. Make sure your image(s) are not in .gif format. They have to be in .bmp. The links referencing the images also need to be absolute URLs, for example, http://www.abc.com/quicken/image.bmp, not /quicken/image.bmp.

9.What image appears in Quicken for Mac?
The Big Logo image, 120 x 60 pixels, is the only image, used for Quicken for Mac. You do not need to create a separate marketing index file for the Quicken for Mac logo, it will pull the [ID_BIGLOGO] from the Quicken marketing index file.
