Product Launch 2009
As a Financial Institution or Service Provider partner that currently supports connectivity to Intuit products, it is important to be aware of the new product releases and the changes necessary to support each product. Please refer to the information below for details.

1. QuickBooks Accounting 2009 for Mac will now support Direct Connect.
NEW functionality
QuickBooks Accounting 2009 for Mac will support Direct Connect in addition to Web Connect when it is released in late September.
Financial Institutions who currently support the Direct Connect connectivity method with QuickBooks for Windows will automatically be added into QuickBooks for Mac.
Direct Connect
In preparation to support this new functionality, each OFX provider will need to have its OFX server capable of functioning with the new application.
It will be necessary to ensure the following APPID/APPVER parameters are supported by your OFX server
<APPID>1800
<APPVER>QBM
QuickBooks Accounting 2009 for Mac will be in Beta through September.
If you would like to participate in the Beta, you will need to sign up and download the application. This can be performed by clicking on "2009 Beta Download" from the Highlights section on http://fi.intuit.com (left side of the home page).
This option will only be available to users who are signed into the website.
